At WESS, we believe that consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for student success and the overall learning environment. Being present and on time allows students to fully engage with lessons, participate in classroom discussions, and build strong relationships with their peers and teachers. We understand that occasional absences may occur, but we emphasize the importance of students being proactive in making up missed work. Excessive tardiness or absences may impact academic progress, and we encourage families to collaborate with staff to ensure that attendance is prioritized. Together, we can create a supportive environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
High School Lateness Policy
8:30 am is considered the start of the school day. Students entering any time after this will be considered tardy.

Receive a follow up email home.

Severely chronically late (at least 2x a week for a period longer than a month).
