Principal Message

Dear WESS Community,

March is here, bringing a month filled with reflection, celebration, and meaningful opportunities for growth. At WESS, we continue to foster a culture of curiosity, inclusion, and excellence—where students are empowered to think critically, collaborate meaningfully, and engage deeply with their learning.

This month, we proudly honor Women’s History Month, recognizing the incredible contributions of women throughout history and within our own community with a special focus on intersectionality. Our classrooms and discussions will highlight the voices, achievements, and impact of women who have shaped our world. We also welcome the two-day visit for EL credentialing, a momentous step in showcasing the strength of our educational programs and the dedication of our families, staff and students. Additionally, we’re excited for Civics for All Week, reinforcing the importance of civic engagement and empowering our students to be active, informed members of their communities. These are just a few of the many incredible events happening this month that make WESS such a vibrant and dynamic place to learn and grow.

We will continue to build upon our successes and tackle new challenges together. Whether you're a returning family or joining WESS for the first time, know that you are a valued part of our community. Let’s make the rest of this year one of discovery, achievement, and connection. I look forward to learning alongside our incredible students, staff, and families to make 2024-25 a truly memorable year.
