Curricular Overview
At West End Secondary School, we offer a variety of rigorous courses across grades 6-12. All of courses our are connected to grade-wide thematic and content-based interdisciplinary studies known as Expeditions, as we are a credentialed Expeditionary Learning school.
Our 8th grade students have the opportunity to earn 8 high school credits and take 3 Regents exams - Regents Biology (2 credits), Regents Algebra 1 (2 credits), Regents United States History (2 credits), and World Languages Checkpoint A - Spanish (2 credits).
Our High School Students have the opportunity to graduate with an Advanced Regents diploma as well as take Advanced Placement (AP) courses every year of high school. Please see the full list of the current Regents and AP courses we offer below. This is not the full list of courses offered at WESS, only the courses that culminate in a Regents or AP exam.
